Media Advisory/REMINDER: Astronaut Jeremy Hansen Participates in Guinness World Record in Vancouver

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 12, 2012) - On October 12 and 13, Canadian Space Agency's (CSA) Astronaut Jeremy Hansen will be in Vancouver to promote science amongst young Canadians. He will take part in the largest practical science lesson for which Canada will try setting a Guinness world record. Hansen will also encourage students from the Vancouver region to enter CSA's Canadian Science Challenge.

Where: HR MacMillan Space Centre

Presentation to students in collaboration with Let's Talk Science

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Britannia Secondary School

- Let's Talk Science volunteers
- 250 students (grades 8-12)
