Media Advisory/REMINDER: Canadian Labour Congress wants Atlantic Workers to "Turn up the Volume" and be Heard

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - Sept. 1, 2007) - Hassan Yussuff, Secretary-Treasurer of the Canadian Labour Congress, will be available to the media in Saint John, New Brunswick on Labour Day to talk about the ongoing loss of the country's best jobs - over 300,000 manufacturing jobs in the last five years, half of them over the last twelve months - and why working people must demand immediate government action to reverse the trend.

In Saint John, Yussuff will walk in the local Labour Day Parade organized by the Saint John and District Labour Council. He will speak at the picnic in Rockwood Park following the parade.
