Media Advisory/REMINDER: Minister Shea Promotes New Tax Credit for Canadians

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 24, 2011) - On Wednesday, August 24, and Thursday, August 25, 2011, the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of National Revenue will visit Regina and Saskatoon to promote the Children's Arts Tax Credit. On Wednesday, Minister Shea will be in Regina, where she will deliver a speech at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre. On Thursday, Minister Shea will be in Saskatoon, where she will deliver a speech at the Gail Adams Studio of Art. This new tax credit, passed in the 2011 Federal Budget, is available to Canadians whose children participate in artistic, cultural, recreational, and developmental programs.

Minister Shea will be available for media opportunities following her speech.
