LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 2, 2009) - Media representatives are invited to the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for the announcement of the first philanthropic mission to the International Space Station by a private Canadian explorer, slated to launch with Soyuz TMA-16 crew this September. The announcement will be made simultaneously in Moscow (Russia) and Longueuil (CSA Headquarters) and will take place on Thursday, June 4th 2009 at 9:30 a.m. EDT. Live from Moscow will be representatives from Space Adventures and the first Canadian space explorer. Live at CSA will be CSA President Steve MacLean.
