Media Advisory: Ring in Chinese New Year at Promenade's Luck + Love Celebration

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 5, 2013) -

What: In celebration of Chinese New Year, Promenade Shopping Centre is hosting its annual Luck + Love event. The event takes place on February 10th, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Promenade's Centre Court and will include crafts, traditional dances, music and martial arts.
In partnership with the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, Promenade will be hosting multiple activities throughout the day. Children can celebrate by making crafts including, traditional lanterns, blossoms and firecrackers. There will be a Chinese dance and music ensemble followed by the Lion dance and a martial arts demonstration. A pair of Giant Panda mascots will also be on hand throughout the day to greet attendees, take photos and join in the celebration.
