Media Advisory: River Rock Casino Resort Welcomes Canada Line Passengers at the Bridgeport Station-Monday August 17, 2009

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 13, 2009) - After months of construction, River Rock Casino Resort will finally get an opportunity to welcome Canada Line passengers on August 17, 2009 at the Bridgeport Station.

Just minutes before the first train starts picking up passengers, an official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the Bridgeport Station. At exactly 12:45 p.m. members of the community, Great Canadian delegates and other officials will gather to welcome the crowds and mark this spectacular milestone.

The first person who enters the stations will receive a luxurious River Rock package which includes a two night stay in the AAA Four Diamond River Rock Hotel, a complimentary dining experience, a pair of tickets to the show of their choice at the River Rock Show Theatre and an opportunity to meet the stars whose performance they experienced.

For the rest of the day, a number of musical impersonators such as Elvis, Rod Stewart and Tina Turner with Ed Sullivan as MC host will perform for the crowds. River Rock Showgirls will be out in full force as they will award riders with Mardi Gras beads and coupons for the newly renovated buffet at the River Rock Casino Resort.
