What:   The League of California Cities' 110th Annual Conference opens
        Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Long Beach Convention Center, with
        the theme "Sailing into the Future." More than 1,800 California
        mayors, council members, city officials and staff will be on-hand
        to discuss important issues facing cities.
