Media Advisory: Saskatchewan Victim of Impaired Driving Honoured in New Awareness Campaign From MADD Canada and RTL-Westcan Group of Companies

SASKATOON, SK--(Marketwired - May 15, 2017) - On October 10, 2014, 25-year-old Danille Kerpan was killed in an impaired driving crash. This week, her parents Melanie and Allan Kerpan, together with RTL-Westcan Group of Companies and MADD Canada, are launching a new awareness initiative to help take impaired drivers off the road before they cause crashes like the one that killed Danille.

Danille's photo and a message encouraging motorists to report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911 will be featured on RTL-Westcan's truck trailers, where they will be seen by thousands of motorists each day in Saskatchewan.

Participating at Wednesday's event to unveil this powerful message will be representatives from the Saskatoon City Council, Saskatoon Police Service, the RCMP, Saskatchewan Government Insurance and Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.
