Media Advisory: School From Space for Canadian Teachers

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 3, 2009) - The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) invites media representatives to attend a special space-to-Earth downlink event with CSA astronaut Dr. Robert Thirsk, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and over 130 Canadian teachers attending the 7th edition of the CSA's annual Space Educator Training event. The live educational downlink event will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 10:20 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. EDT at the CSA headquarters in Longueuil, Quebec.

Journalists who cannot be on site will be able to watch the event live on the CSA website at www.asc-csa.gc.ca.
