Media Advisory: Second Annual Soldier On Winter Sports Clinic

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 13, 2012) - Members of the media are invited to attend the Second Annual Soldier On Winter Sports Clinic at the Calabogie Peaks Resort on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 15, 2012
TIME: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This will include an hour set aside for interviews with the participants between 8:30 - 9:30 am. The rest of the day's activities will take place on the ski slopes.

Calabogie, Ontario

The Soldier On Program is a morale and welfare initiative of the Canadian Forces (CF). It achieves a number of aims. The Program encourages injured or ill personnel to attain and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Soldier On supports these personnel in increasing their independence, in developing new skills and in achieving goals. It also provides an opportunity for them to socialize and explore common interests, and share learning experiences with other like minded injured or ill personnel.
