Media Advisory: SEIU to Rally At Office of MPP Aileen Carroll, Re:Looming Home Care Strike

BARRIE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 16, 2009) - Home care workers, members of Service Employees International Union, will rally at the office of Barrie MPP Aileen Carroll, February 17th at 10:00 am to shed light on the worsening conditions in the home care industry. Unlike other MPPs who were more than happy to meet home care workers, MPP Carroll has not responded to a request to discuss these important services.

The rally, part of a campaign aptly named Running On Empty, will underscore the problems faced by families of those in need of home care and home care workers in Barrie and across Ontario.
