OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2012) - The Ottawa Senators will make their annual Christmas visit to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) on Friday, Dec. 14. Senators head coach Paul MacLean, along with assistant coach Dave Cameron, former Senators captain Laurie Boschman, Sens alumni president Brad Marsh and Spartacat, the team's mascot and ambassador of fun, will meet with patients and their families to sign autographs and spread some Christmas cheer late on Friday morning. Senators staff will deliver gifts to patients while leaving behind portable DVD players and movies for the hospital to keep in an effort to enhance patient's stay at the facility.
Photo opportunity: Media will have the opportunity to obtain images of Spartacat, Senators' coaches and alumni as they interact with children in one of CHEO's playrooms. Interviews with children require the approval of hospital personnel and parents.
When: Friday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m.
Where: CHEO (please use the main entrance), 401 Smyth Road, Ottawa; paid parking is available in the visitors' lot.
