Media Advisory: Sens Foundation launches 2011 Roger's House Telethon with special first gift

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 3, 2011) - The Sens Foundation will host a news conference on Friday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. to announce the 2011 Roger's House Telethon presented by CN which will air on Rogers Sportsnet Tuesday, March 15 prior to the Senators home game against Pittsburgh beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Following her recent successful 'Fashion For Funds' fashion show, 12-year-old Kate Reeve will present the event's proceeds to Sens Foundation president Danielle Robinson, Roger's House executive director Lloyd Cowin, and Roger's House family member Tania Wall. The 2011 edition of the telethon marks the fifth anniversary of Roger's House. This year's theme is "Living life to the fullest. Celebrating five years of care at Roger's House." 

Robinson, Cowin and David Miller, CN's vice-president of government affairs, will be on hand to discuss their commitment to raising funds for Roger's House and how this year's proceeds will help ensure the facility can continue to provide the highest level of care for children and youth in our community.
