Media Advisory: Sens House to host ceremonial grand opening on Thursday, July 24

First look at new destination for Sens fans with state-of-the-art retractable roof and big screen

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 22, 2014) - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators), along with Ottawa Venues announced today that the ceremonial grand opening of the Sens House Sports Bar and Grill (@SensHouseOttawa), the 5,000 square-foot, 250-seat restaurant located in the heart of Ottawa's ByWard Market, will take place on Thursday, July 24.

The official sports bar of the Ottawa Senators, located at 73 York Street, in second-floor space that previously housed the Hard Rock Café, will host media and other guests for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and tasting session commencing at 4:30 p.m.

Sens House will offer an unparalleled entertainment experience and Thursday's opening will provide media with a first look at the state-of-the-art retractable roof, the facility's 16 x 9 HDX-W20 FLEX screen featuring the highest degree of brightness and clarity available, and the 1,500 square-foot patio that will deliver one of the finest open-air dining environments in Ottawa during the summer months. The facility, which will also include a retail store on-site, is scheduled to officially open to the public on Monday, July 28.
