Media Advisory: Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre hosts press conference for new nationwide school resource

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 12, 2017) -

WHAT: In conjunction with National Child Abuse Prevention Month this October, the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre (SKCAC) has partnered with the Calgary Board of Education, Calgary Catholic School District to host a press conference on October 19, 2017. The conference will announce a new initiative led by SKCAC regarding Calgary and surrounding public, Catholic, charter and private school districts and their role in keeping children safe from child abuse.
