BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwire - Nov. 10, 2011) -

Reporters/Editors: Business, Technology, Building Construction

Leading architects, engineers and building contractors will be getting a peek at some of the leading-edge 'green building' technology at an event in Brussels on November 15th – and the media are invited to attend.

Hosted by the the Embassy of Canada, the General Delegation of Quebec and CMHC International, the international division of CMHC - Canada's National Housing Agency, the conference entitled "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CANADIAN HOUSING SECTOR" will showcase some of the most sophisticated green building solutions from Canada.

In particular, the conference will present EQuilibrium™, a national sustainable housing demonstration initiative, led by CMHC, Canada's National Housing agency.

The conference will include presentations of innovative Canadian solutions, already available in Belgium, to help Belgian builders, architects, engineering bureaus and technology providers develop homes that are energy-efficient, sustainable, affordable and safe!
