Media Advisory: Spectra Energy Transmission Donates $200,000 to STARS

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 5, 2007) - Spectra Energy will donate $200,000 to STARS (Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society) at a special event to be held at STARS' Grande Prairie base on March 6th. STARS will demonstrate its Human Patient Simulator Program (HPS) and provide guests with an opportunity to tour the STARS base including the helicopter hangar.



WHO: Duane Rae, Vice President, Spectra Energy Transmission - West and
President Midstream Division will be available to answer questions
regarding Spectra Energy's community investment program. Phil
Levson, Vice President, STARS Foundation and STARS staff will be
available to answer questions about STARS services and programs.
STARS helicopter (BK-117) and the Human Patient Simulator will be on
site.
