Media Advisory/SSHRC: New Research Project Will Improve Support for People Living With Dementia

KITCHENER, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 3, 2010) - The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will announce several large-scale research projects that bring communities and universities together to build knowledge in key areas affecting Canadians, including a project in Waterloo to improve support for people living with dementia. These Community-University Research Alliances grants are funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
