Media Advisory: Taxpayers' Ombudsman to Participate in the Canada Pavilion at the Calgary Stampede

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2011) - Visitors to the Calgary Stampede will have the opportunity to learn about their rights as taxpayers from Mr. J. Paul Dubé, Canada's Taxpayers' Ombudsman.

Mr. Dubé will participate in the Canada Pavilion at the Calgary Stampede from July 12 - 17, 2011, to inform the public and hear any concerns they may have about the service provided by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Mr. Dubé was appointed as the Taxpayers' Ombudsman in February 2008. His role is to uphold the Taxpayer Bill of Rights and to see that taxpayers get professional service and fair treatment from the CRA.
