Media Advisory: The Irish Government Contributes to the Grosse Ile and the Irish Memorial National Historic Site

QUEBEC, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 8, 2009) - The Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of the Environment and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will be at the Grosse Ile and the Irish Memorial Historic Site on May 10 to participate in a ceremony.

The event will be held in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Ireland Mr. Delcan Kelly and Mr. Eamon O Cuiv, Irish Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
