Media Advisory: The Princess of Wales' Own Regiment Welcomes a New Commanding Officer

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 18, 2013) - Lieutenant Colonel Parkinson will be taking command of Kingston's reserve infantry regiment, The Princess of Wales' Own Regiment from Lieutenant Colonel McKay on September 19, 2013 at the Kingston Armouries.

When: September 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Kingston Armouries, 100 Montreal St, Kingston, ON.

What: Kingston's Own, the Princess of Wale's Own Regiment, will be starting this September with fresh enthusiasm and fresh faces. On September 19, 2013 the regiment will be conducting a change of command parade to mark the departure of Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel James McKay and the arrival of Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Joe Parkinson.

The parade, consisting of approximately 75-100 members, will be attended by Honoraries and Senate members from both the Princess of Wales Own Regiment and the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment.
