Media Advisory: The Transportation Safety Board of Canada Will Release Investigation Update on its Investigation of the Marine Accident Involving L'Acadien II

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 11, 2008) - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will release at 10 a.m. Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT), on 14 August, 2008, an update on its investigation into the capsizing and loss of life aboard L'Acadien II. The accident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. ADT on 29 March, 2008, northeast of Cape Breton Island.

The Investigator-in-Charge and the Regional Manager will be available by appointment to answer questions about the progress and process related to the investigation. It is important to note that the Board has made no findings at this point.
