Media Advisory: The Transportation Safety Board of Canada Will Release its Final Investigation Report on the 2005 Morningstar Accident in Winnipeg

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 5, 2006) - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will release, on December 6, 2006, its final investigation report (A05C0187) into the fatal accident that occurred in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 6, 2005 involving a Cessna 208 series aircraft. The report will be released at a news conference in Winnipeg on Wednesday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m. (central time).

The TSB Chair and the Manager, Regional Operations - Air, who is also the Investigator-in-Charge, will present the Board's findings and provide information about the investigation. A question and answer period will follow the news conference.

Reporters will be able to review the report under embargo beginning at 9:30 a.m. (central time) until the beginning of the news conference. The final report A05C0187 will be available on the TSB Web site at at 10:00 a.m. (central time).
