Attention Business/News Editors

The Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) announced today that its Sarnia Liaison Office is relocating to the Lambton Shared Services Centre (LSSC).

"The Sarnia Liaison Office is an important resource for the community that is still needed to address concerns around occupational disease," says Jill Hutcheon, WSIB President and Interim Chair. "By moving to the LSSC which is conveniently located in downtown Sarnia, we will be able to continue to provide effective service to our clients in the area."

The new location at the LSSC offers needed facilities and combines services from all levels of government and the private sector to deliver programs in one place. It is located at Bayside Mall, 150 Christina Street North, Sarnia, ON, N7T 8H3.

Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) plays a key role in the province's occupational health and safety system. The WSIB administers no-fault workplace insurance for employers and their workers and is committed to the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses. The WSIB provides disability benefits, monitors the quality of healthcare, and assists in early and safe return to work for workers who are injured on the job or contract an occupational disease.
