The Danish community is invited to join Their Royal Highnesses on this occasion.
The tradition of ceremonially planting a tree marking visits by members of a royal family, heads of State and other dignitaries began over a century ago. Since that time, planting ceremonial trees has become a Canadian tradition, symbolizing the living friendship and co-operation of nations.
