Media Advisory/TPP puts privacy, health care at risk: Vancouver expert panel


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 18, 2016) - The Canadian Labour Congress and the Council of Canadians will host a town hall meeting in Vancouver on Tuesday, November 22nd to discuss why Canada must not sign the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement.

Speakers at the town hall include CLC President Hassan Yussuff, National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians Maude Barlow, British Columbia and Yukon Territory Building and Construction Trades Council President Lee Loftus and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives' BC Director Seth Klein. They will discuss the impacts the TPP will have on Canadians, particularly the negative impacts to the environment and its effects on Vancouver.
