Media Advisory: TTC Bus Driver Honoured as Community Watcher of the Year

TTC bus Operator Lee Schwalb as been selected as the TTC's Community Watcher of the Year, in recognition of his role in coming to the aid of a woman and her baby, after the victim had been assaulted by her husband. TTC Chair Adam Giambrone, TTC Chief General Manager Gary Webster and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113 President Bob Kinnear will be on hand for some special presentations, including a $1000 cheque to Operator Schwalb's charity of choice, courtesy of the program sponsor, Bell Canada.
