Media Advisory: TTC Plans Open House for Kipling Station East Entrance Project

What: Open House for Kipling Station East Entrance Project
When: Thursday, June 19, 2008, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: TTC Kipling Subway Station, Bus Terminal Level

This year, TTC will begin a construction project which will result in improvements to the TTC's Kipling Subway Station. The project will result in improved station access from the east side of the station and additional bus capacity in the existing bus terminal.

Key improvements will include:

- New fully accessible automatic entrance at the east side of the station

- New 29-vehicle passenger pick-up and drop-off area

- New 4-vehicle Taxi facility

- Expansion of the existing bus terminal (2 new bus bays)

The purpose of this open house is to provide more information about the improvements to Kipling Station and what to expect during construction.
