TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 7, 2009) - In a speech entitled Canada's Banks - Turning global respect today into long term success tomorrow, Nancy Hughes Anthony, President and CEO of the Canadian Bankers Association, will address the Economic Club Of Canada in a discussion about how our banks, regulators and the federal government must work together to ensure the country's banking industry remains one of Canada's leading sectors of tomorrow, for the benefit of all Canadians. The speech will focus on the strengths that helped our banks weather the global financial crisis and will also look forward at what needs to be done to set the direction for Canada's future in the world's financial marketplace.
