DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 8, 2011) - RONA inc. (TSX:RON)(TSX:RON.PR.A), the largest Canadian distributor and retailer of hardware, renovation and gardening products, is pleased to invite media representatives to the official reopening ceremony of three RONA stores formerly under the Piercey's banner. The stores are located on Cole Harbour Road in Dartmouth, at 84 Manson Lane in Elmsdale, and in St. Margaret's Village near Exit 5 off Highway 103.
The renovations represent an investment of close to $4 million and will give consumers an improved shopping experience as they take advantage of a wider range of products. Each new RONA store has expanded its inventory by more than 12,000 products and boasts access to some 100,000 products offered throughout the RONA network.
