Media Advisory: Veterans Affairs Minister to Announce Improvements for Canada's Veterans

CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND--(Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2011) - The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister of State (Agriculture), will be at the Daniel J. MacDonald government building to highlight measures implemented in 2010 by the Government to improve service to our Veterans and their families. He will also announce recent improvements within Veterans Affairs Canada.

Charlottetown is the first stop in a cross-country tour to meet Veterans and explain recent improvements that have been implemented within the Department to better serve Veterans and their families.
