Media Advisory: Veterans Affairs Minister Steven Blaney to Join Portraits of Honour Tour Stop on Parliament Hill

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 10, 2011) - The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will attend the Remembrance Day stop of Kin Canada's Portraits of Honour Tour on Parliament Hill. The Minister will address invited guests and the media.

The Portraits of Honour Tour, a joint initiative of artist Dave Sopha, Kin Canada and the Kin Canada Foundation, with funding by Veterans Affairs Canada, is a cross-country tour of a hand-painted mural (measuring 40 feet in length) featuring portraits of Canadian Forces members who lost their lives in Afghanistan.
