Media Advisory: Veterans Ombudsman to Hold Public Meeting with Veterans in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 26, 2012) - Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, will travel to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec to host a town hall session for Veterans, RCMP members, military members, families and other interested parties. These meetings are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans, talk about what the Office is doing on their behalf and answer questions about the Office and issues of importance to the Veterans community. Mr. Parent will deliver a short presentation, followed by a question and answer period with the audience. A representative from the Office will be available at the town hall to meet individually Veterans who wish to discuss the particulars of their case.
