Media Advisory: Veterans Ombudsman to Hold Public Meetings With Veterans in Dartmouth and Greenwood, Nova Scotia

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 22, 2015) - Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, will host town hall sessions in Dartmouth and Greenwood, Nova Scotia, for Veterans, RCMP members, military members, their families and other interested parties. These meetings are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans, talk about what his Office is doing on their behalf and answer questions about the Office and issues of concern to the Veterans' community. Mr. Parent will deliver a short presentation, followed by a question and answer period with the audience. Representatives from the Office will also be available at the town hall to meet individually with Veterans who wish to discuss the particulars of their case.
