Media Advisory/Vote on Bill C-257: Georgetti to Comment on the Vote on the Anti-Scab Legislation

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 25, 2006) - The president of the Canadian Labour Congress will be on Parliament Hill (Centre Block) to watch the vote on Bill C-257.

Immediately after, Ken Georgetti will be available to the media to comment on the vote and on Bill C-257 - that would make it illegal for employers to hire replacement workers (often referred to as "scabs") while their own employees are locked out or on strike.



When: 6:30 p.m. or as soon as possible after the recorded
vote on Bill C-257 is completed.
