Media Advisory: Want my vote in this election?

Commit to child care ABCs (Access to the Best Childcare) say parents, educators

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 8, 2014) - "Access to quality, licensed child care is a lifeline for many parents and impacts our economy. Yet child care often gets short shrift in election campaigns and the policy planks of some parties. In this election, if you want my vote, this needs to change," says Brooke Richardson, the mom of three children under six years old who is pursuing a PhD in policy studies at Ryerson.

Along with other parents, early childhood educators and child care advocates, Richardson will be at a media conference Friday May 9, 2014 at 11 a.m., outside the Ontario Legislature where they will outline the child care ABCs (Access to the Best Childcare) that they want all parties to commit to.
