OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2012) - The whales are coming! Media are invited to the exclusive preview of the international travelling exhibition, Whales Tohora. On loan from the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, the highly interactive and immersive show opens March 2, following a successful run at the Field Museum in Chicago.

Running until September 3, Whales Tohora brings the world of whales to life with a powerful combination of accessible interactive science and cultural storytelling that brings visitors eye-to-eye with these magnificent marine mammals. The exhibition features real skeletons, life-sized models, interactive games, artifacts and stories from the Maori (indigenous people of New Zealand).
