Media Advisory: Winnipeg Citizens Learn to Camp as Part of Parks Canada's Centennial

ST. ANDREWS, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - Mr. James Bezan, MP for Selkirk-Interlake, will launch the "Learn to Camp" initiative, as part of Parks Canada's 100th anniversary.

This original initiative will allow about 60 Winnipeg citizens to experience their first overnight camping under supervision of Parks Canada's seasoned outdoor specialists.

Mr. Bezan will take part in this event on behalf of the Honourable Peter Kent, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada.
