On April 15, 2010, with help and support of 15 volunteers from YMCA New Comer Information Center, TCOR Membership and Community, The Toronto and Central Ontario Regional Society is organizing a fundraising and awareness event "World Hemophilia Day Tulip Sale".

About World Hemophilia Day:

The World Hemophilia Day started in 1998. The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) chose April 17 in honor of WFH founder Frank Schnabel, who was born on that day. This day is celebrated by all Hemophilia organizations around the world, and gives them an opportunity to educated people and increase awareness of Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
