Will Arctic nations act to save polar bears from vanishing ice?

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 18, 2009) - The meeting of the parties to the 1973 International Agreement on the Conservation of Polar Bears and their Habitat held in Tromso, Norway will be concluding the morning of Thursday, March 19, 2009. WWF experts will be available from Norway to speak about what was achieved or not achieved during the meeting by the countries involved (Canada, Denmark - Greenland, Norway, Russia, US). We will also have a spokesperson available here in Canada for interviews. A WWF media release will also be issued tomorrow morning.
