Media Alert: IRS Extends Reporting Deadlines for Forms 1095-C and 1094-C; ADP® Webinar on January 12 Discusses What This Means for Businesses

ROSELAND, NJ--(Marketwired - Jan 5, 2016) - Last month, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced delayed reporting due dates for Affordable Care Act (ACA) Forms 1094-C/1095-C and Forms 1094-B/1095-B. ADP is hosting a special ACA Best Practices webcast to help educate clients about this extension and how to navigate the new deadlines, which include:

  • Distributing Form 1095-C to employees: delayed from February 1, 2016 to March 31, 2016
  • Filing Forms 1094-C/1095-C with the IRS: delayed from February 29, 2016 to May 31, 2016, if not filing electronically, and from March 31, 2016 to June 30, 2016, if filing electronically
  • Identical extensions apply for insurers furnishing Form 1095-B to covered individuals, and filing Forms 1094-B/1095-B with the IRS
