On Saturday, December 11, from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, Magic Beans shoppers can meet Lisa and try out the new Magic Beans mobile self-checkout application. Powered by AisleBuyer, the 'Magic Beans' app allows shoppers to scan items, review pricing, access ratings and reviews and checkout using a secure connection via their smartphone, without ever having to wait in line.

Lisa, a busy mother of two and longtime Magic Beans fan, will discuss her favorite toys and offer recommendations for holiday shoppers.

Magic Beans shoppers that checkout using the app on Saturday during the event will also receive a special complimentary gift. Light refreshments will be served as well.

Shoppers interested in trying the 'Magic Beans' app can test it at all Boston-area Magic Beans locations in Brookline, Cambridge, Wellesley and Hingham. The Magic Beans app is available for free download in the iPhone App Store and the Android Marketplace by searching for 'Magic Beans.'
