MEDIA ALERT: Quova Demonstrates the Power of IP Geolocation at Internet Retailer 2009

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2009) - Quova, Inc., the leading provider of IP geolocation data and services, will exhibit at the 2009 Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition, June 15-18 in Boston. IREC is the world's largest e-retailing conference.

Location -- is one piece of data that can provide many uses for e-retailers, including preventing online fraud, localizing Web content and geotargeting advertising. By implementing IP geolocation technology into their Web sites, retailers can identify a visitor's location from their IP address, pinpointing the geographic area of the user down to a city level. Once a visitor's location is known, retailers can take an action, such as providing Web content in the right language and currency, or blocking transactions from notoriously fraudulent countries such as Nigeria.

Quova will be showcasing its IP geolocation capabilities in booth #1102 at Internet Retailer.

Who: Quova staff members, including Kerry Langstaff, VP of Marketing at Quova.

What: Quova will showcase its repository of more 2 billion IP addresses and discuss the many ways IP geolocation can aid retailers. Representatives from Quova can describe use cases from companies such as the HP Home and Office Store and Continental Airlines.

When: June 15-18, 2009

Where: Boston Convention and Exhibit Center, Boston, MA; Booth #1102
