WHAT: Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) will host VITL Summit '15, Transforming Health Care Through Technology. VITL's ninth annual conference will be attended by almost 400 providers, industry professionals, consumers, entrepreneurs and those interested in health information technology. This two day event will be packed with sessions on patient engagement, telemedicine, Meaningful Use, HIMSS hospital certification, transforming health care with data, the connected clinician, technology's role in health care reform, health technology innovations, data analytics and more. Dr. Shahram Ebadollahi, IBM Watson Health vice president and chief technology officer, will discuss how IBM Watson Health is innovating toward a patient-centric world. Although health care as a subject may not conjure ideas of fun and laughs, the Summit lunch speaker, David Glickman, will remedy that with A Dose of Health Care Humor.
