Ontario's government has issued requests for applications to cut services from local public hospitals and contract them out to private clinics. This means Ontario's Liberal government is dismantling clinical services in public hospitals and contracting them out. On Monday March 10, the Ontario Health Coalition will be launching a giant Ontario-wide referendum, announcing the date of the referendum and releasing the ballot question. Already, dozens of volunteers in communities across the province have begun distributing materials and helping to build awareness and capacity around this major health issue.
