The Rider Training Institute, Ontario's leading motorcycle licensing and skills development school, invites the media to learn safe and effective operation of a motorcycle in a hands on, professionally led training session.

"Increasing fuel costs, insurance rates, transit congestion and parking costs all contribute to the increasing numbers of new and returning riders we are seeing," notes Sharron St. Croix, RTI's Executive Director. "The number of motorcycles on Ontario roads has doubled in the last 10 years to over 200,000, highlighting the need for proper training, ongoing skills development and increased awareness for motorcyclists of all experience levels," St. Croix went on to say.

RTI's goal is to help demystify motorcycling and promote awareness of proper skills development by providing media with an opportunity to experience motorcycle rider training first hand.
