Ontario Farmers Converge On Toronto For 2005 Canadian International Farm Equipment Show Attention: Agriculture Editor, Assignment Editor, City Editor, News Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 4, 2005) - Following the recent protest by farmers along the 401 and the devastating impact of Mad Cow Disease (BSE), among other issues concerning the Canadian agriculture industry, this year's Canadian International Farm Equipment Show marks the first opportunity for farmers, suppliers, media and associations within the agricultural community to gather in one place. Media interested in getting to the heart of the Ag industry are invited to come to the International Centre February 8th - 11th, 2005.

More than 25,000 farmers are expected to visit the Show during the four day event, with more than 500 exhibitors from all aspects of the agricultural industry. Several farm-related associations will be on-site to discuss the issues with media, including the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, Ontario Retail Farm Equipment Dealers' Association, Ontario Wholesale Farm Equipment Association, Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, Government of Canada Rural Exhibits Program, Prairie Implement Manufacturers Association, Ontario Federation of Agriculture, among others. Ontario Farmer Publications, media with their finger on the pulse of the industry, will also be on-hand to answer any questions.
