Media Invited to Attend ISO's 2015 Stakeholder Symposium

FOLSOM, CA--(Marketwired - October 05, 2015) - The California Independent System Operator welcomes members of the media to attend its 2015 Stakeholder Symposium, regarded as one of the West's premier energy forums, on October 22 & 23 at the Sacramento Convention Center, Sacramento, California.

Nearly 900 industry leaders and experts are expected at the annual event to share ideas on fighting climate change, promoting reliable and efficient power grids and fostering new technologies. The event's theme -- Leading the Way to 50 Percent -- reflects California's recent initiative to increase use of renewable energy in California.

This year's event also features an international presence, with high-level energy officials from Mexico and numerous European countries scheduled to attend.
