TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2013) - In order to inspire young Canadians to build connections with Canada's natural and cultural heritage, Parks Canada implemented several initiatives, including the Youth Ambassadors Program which is currently in its recruiting phase through seminars held by Global Vision.
Parks Canada is looking for two students that have demonstrated leadership, community involvement, creativity and innovation qualities to engage their peers. Their task: to cross the country this summer in order to discover and share the beauty and history of Canada!
Friday March 1, at 2:30 pm in the Founders Assembly Hall of the Founders College of York University, Members of the media will have an opportunity to attend a presentation by the 2012 Youth Ambassadors, Alaïs Nevert and Michael Ciniello. They will present a video to the Seminar's participants showcasing their incredible experience as Ambassadors.
These seminars are offered across the country by Global Vision.
The two Ambassadors 2012 will be available for interviews with media at the end of the presentation. Videos and photos are also available upon request.
