Industry Experts to Share Insights Into Generating Smart Data and the Full Potential for Automated Media Buying

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 21, 2013) -  MediaMath SVP, GM Americas Matt Spiegel will moderate two interactive sessions during the inaugural Chief Digital Officer Global Forum; the first on the emergence of smart data and the second on future of programmatic media buying. Both are part of the summit's "Strategy & Platforms"-focused day, taking place today in the Rosewood Ballroom at Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California.

The first session, "It's Not About Big Data - It's About Smart Data!," scheduled for 2:35 p.m. PT, will explore how marketers can turn raw "big data" into smart data that helps create competitive market advantages, stronger customer relationships, and incremental revenue and margin growth. Spiegel will interview the session participants on how their organizations have been able to use massive amounts of online, offline, and increasingly mobile and cross-platform data available to them to produce actionable insights. 

Shortly after, at 4:45 p.m. PT, Spiegel will lead a roundtable discussion, "The Rise of Programmatic: It's the Future - What Does That Mean?". Throughout, attendees will be encouraged to share their opinions and perspectives as to how far the advertising and marketing industry should take automated media buying solutions -- not only online and across mobile, but in other traditional media platforms, as well.
